Here you can see the results for
our music video research, in regards to our artist Beau. 3 out of 5 people that
were asked to take part said that animation and stop motion is what make a
music video interesting. They also said that they prefer a cheesy, romantic
story line within a music video and that they listen to artist like Ed Sheeran
and Arctic monkeys. Both have one thing in common and that is that they play
instruments.

lesson 16
During this specific lesson, me
and Sarah were still working on our music video on final cut pro. This lesson
we were concentrating on the footage we took and were trying to put each clip
in time with the lyrics. The one problem we found is that some of the clips did
not match up with the lyrics, in regards to the lip syncing of Beau; however,
some of the footage did match up with the lyrics.

Digi-pack questionnaire
Here you can see the results from
my Digi-pack design research. 3 out of 5 people I asked said that they prefer
Digi-pack design 1, as the design leaves the audience with an enigma of who is
this artist? Because it doesn’t reveal the artist’s face, and that it displays
everything that makes the artist unique amongst other artists in the music
industry e.g. checked shirt and the guitar he plays.

Progress on animation
Here you can see the progression on our stop motion images that me and sarah have made on Photoshop element 10.
Digi-pack design 3
Here you can see my digi-pack design 3. I have decided to use a close up image of a guitar as this is Beau's unique selling point amongst other artist.
Digi-pack design 2
Here you can see my digi-pack design 2. I have decided to use an image of Beau on the front cover as it helps the audience to identify the singer.
Digi-pack design 1
Here you can see my digi-pack design 1. I have decided to use a close up image of Beau's shirt, as it helps to display Beau's sense of style. It also leaves and enigma, as it doesn't reveal the artist's face to the audience.
